Using the product customizer

The product customizer in Launch by Lead Apparel allows you to preview and personalize products before adding them to your company store.

This helps create more consistent branding across apparel, drinkware, bags and accessories while simplifying the product setup process inside Launch.

Customize Product Placement

The product customizer allows you to preview logo placement directly on supported products before they are added to your store.

Depending on the product, you may be able to:

  • Preview multiple logo locations
  • Select different logo variations
  • Adjust logo sizing
  • Add notes for the production team
  • Download a mockup preview

Available customization options may vary by product and decoration method.

Step 1: On the product page, select Customize with your logo to begin customizing the product. The button is highlighted with a red arrow.
Step 2: Select where you want your logo placed by choosing a placement option, such as Left Chest, Right Chest, Left Sleeve, or Right Sleeve. The placement options are highlighted with a red border and arrow.
Step 3: Choose the logo you want to apply to the selected placement. Available logo options are displayed in the Logo section, which is highlighted with a red border and arrow. The selected logo appears as a preview on the product.
Step 4: Click and drag the logo on the product preview to position it exactly where you want it. Use the Scale slider to adjust the logo size, then select Save Placement to apply your changes. The logo, scale slider, and Save Placement button are highlighted with red arrows.
Step 5: Once you are satisfied with the logo placement, select Add to your store in the top-right corner to save the customized product to your store. The Add to your store button is highlighted with a red arrow.

Upload High-Quality Logos

The product customizer displays the exact logo files uploaded to your Launch dashboard.

If a logo file is:

  • Low resolution
  • Uploaded with a background
  • Poorly cropped
  • Distorted or stretched

…it may also appear that way inside the product preview and mockups.

For the best results, we recommend:

  • High-resolution artwork
  • Transparent background logos
  • Vector artwork when available
  • Properly cropped files

This helps create cleaner previews and more accurate decoration results during production.

If needed, the Launch team can also help review uploaded artwork before products are finalized.

Preview Before Adding Products

The customizer helps companies create a more polished merchandise experience before products are published to their store.

Many companies use the customizer to:

  • Maintain consistent branding
  • Test different logo variations
  • Review placement visibility
  • Download mockups for approvals

Once customization is complete, products can be added directly to your Launch store.
