Accessories & Tech

Accessories and technology products are commonly used to create more elevated employee gifting and onboarding experiences.

Products such as wireless chargers, headphones, power banks and Bluetooth speakers are especially popular because employees use them throughout the day at work, at home and while traveling. Home-focused products such as blankets are also consistently well received during seasonal gifting programs and holiday launches.

Because of their everyday usability, accessories and tech products often create strong long-term value within company merchandise programs.

Some of the most commonly added accessory and technology products in Launch stores include:

  • Wireless chargers
  • Power banks
  • Earbuds and headphones
  • Bluetooth speakers
  • Tablet accessories
  • Journalbooks and notebooks
  • Blankets
  • Home and office products

Brands such as JBL, Anker and Belkin are especially popular across employee gifting and onboarding programs.

Accessories Work Well for Employee Gifting

Accessories and tech products are commonly used for:

  • Employee onboarding kits
  • Holiday gifting
  • Leadership gifts
  • Remote employee programs
  • Event giveaways
  • Work-from-home setups

Many companies also use accessories to complement apparel collections and create more complete merchandise experiences for employees.

Minimum Order Requirements

Many technology and accessory products require minimum production quantities.

Unlike apparel, hats and bags that are largely produced internally by Launch, many technology products are decorated through specialized third-party production partners that use different decoration equipment and processes.

Because of these specialized production requirements, minimum quantities are commonly required before production can begin.

Launch clearly displays minimum quantity requirements during product setup so admins can understand product-specific requirements before adding items to the store.

If employee ordering does not meet the required minimum quantity, companies may choose to purchase the remaining quantity needed to complete production.

Decoration Considerations

Many technology and accessory products use pad printing for decoration because of their smaller imprint areas and product construction.

Pad printing supports very fine detail reproduction, making it a strong option for smaller logos and precise artwork applications. However, many pad print applications are limited to one or two imprint colors depending on the product and decoration area.

Because of these limitations, highly detailed or multi-color logos may sometimes need to be simplified or adjusted before production.

Imprint areas on technology products can also vary significantly depending on the shape, surface material and available decoration space of the product.

Product Compatibility & Presentation

Accessories and technology products are typically selected based on decoration compatibility, usability and long-term presentation quality.

Products that offer clean logo placement, durable construction and everyday functionality generally perform best within employee merchandise programs.

This is especially common with:

  • Wireless charging products
  • Premium audio products
  • Travel accessories
  • Home comfort products
  • Work-from-home accessories

Best Practices

  • Use clean and simplified logo artwork whenever possible
  • Review imprint sizes carefully before approving products
  • Pair accessories with apparel for more balanced merchandise programs
  • Focus on products employees can realistically use daily
  • Prioritize quality and durability for long-term use
  • Consider seasonal gifting opportunities for home-focused products
